Windows 8 | Features

Windows 8 is a upcoming version of Microsoft Windows which follows Windows 7. It features a new Metro-style interface that was designed for touchscreen, mouse, keyboard, and pen input. It also adds support for the ARM processor architecture in addition to the previously supported x86 microprocessors from Intel and AMD. Its server counterpart is codenamed Windows Server 8.

Add background image on your folder

Open a folder in which you wish to add the background image and create a new notepad file. Copy and paste code below on your notepad and save as Desktop.ini.

Note: C:\path\folder\background.jpg should be your folder location. 

      Otherwise its not working.

Add A Custom Titlebar at Internet Explorer

Add a Custom Internet Explorer Window Title
Using Registry Editor, add a String value named Window Title to the following key in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
The data value is the title you want to appear on the Internet Explorer window.  


To Remove a Custom Internet Explorer Window Title
Using Registry Editor, delete the following value in the registry:
 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Window Title
When you delete this value, "Microsoft Internet Explorer" becomes the default window title
